The disintegration of the Yellow Brick Road, and the spiral disappearing into a void reflects the darker side of Oz. The title itself is borrowed from the lyrics of an Elton John song which tells of a young country boy's disillusionment with the rich city high-life.

65 x 37 inches (165 x 95cm)

Commercially printed cotton fabrics, cotton batting, backing and binding. With shaped lower edge and faced hole at the centre of the design.

Machine quilted with a variegated cotton thread and binding finished by hand

With a hanging sleeve for wall mounting
