MANHATTAN MAYHEM - Wall Hanging or Table Runner

I have always loved the classic NEW YORK BEAUTY designs with their Art Deco in style, so here's my take on these traditional blocks. I have drafted six blocks for you play with and make suggestions for various layouts - the possibilities are endless!

This layout finishes to approximately 23 x 45 inches - ideal for a wall hanging or a table runner. Or you could make more blocks and make a whole quilt!

The blocks for this design are made in foundation paper piecing (FPP) - full instructions for the technique will be given during the workshop.

As with all my workshops, each student will receive a full set of instructions with photos and diagrams as a reminder of the day's lessons, so they can complete their chosen project at home

This is a Machine Sewing course. Please note that this is not a suitable class for patchwork novices. Although full instructions will be given for FPP, knowledge of sewing and cutting is essential for students to get the best out of the workshop
